Nineteen Eighty Four (1984) T-Shirts

T-shirts inspired by Nineteen Eighty Four, the 1984 film adaptation of George Orwell's classic dystopian novel of the same name, directed by Michael Radford and starring John Hurt.

The film follows the life of Winston Smith in the totalitarian superstate of Oceania, under the constant surveillance of the Thought Police. Winston works at the Ministry of Truth, rewriting history in accordance with the dictates of 'The Party' (referred to as 'Ingsoc' in Newspeak, the Party's official language), and its supreme figurehead, Big Brother. Winston keeps an illegal secret diary of his private thoughts, thus committing 'thoughtcrime'—the crime of independent thought.
